APPLICATIONS

W e recommend the use of our retardant in all cases where the start of concrete setting must be delayed, such as:

• Concrete to be transported long distances.
• Slow and complicated concreting.
• Concreting at high temperatures.
• Concrete pumping.
• Concrete without expansion joints, etc.

PROPERTIES

Delays the hydration of cement particles.

By delaying the start of setting, it protects the concrete in warm climates or at high temperatures by eliminating the risk of cracks.

Allows ready-mixed concrete to be transported without the risk of premature hardening.

COVERAGE

The mix varies between 1 and 1.5 % by weight of cement for setting delays of between 10 and 15 hours at average temperatures of 20 ºC, approximately.
