Additive
especially designed to give mortars and concretes greater cohesion,
greater plasticity and considerably improved handling.
APPLICATIONS
Concretes
and mortars where the following are required:
- Plasticity.
-
Reduced amounts of cement.
-
Improved handling.
-
Increased quality and resistance.
- Prevention
of blocking in pumps.
Can
be used as a water reduction agent, reducing the amount of water
in the mix by about 10%, thus increasing the mortar's resistance.
PROPERTIES
-
Reduces shrinkage of the cement and prevents segregation, providing
a more even mix.
-
Has a secondary aeration effect, , that is, it causes small air
bubbles that have a lubricating effect. This aeration effect is
approximately 2%.
-
Provides resistance to freezing/melting cycles. That is, it has
a partial anti-freeze effect.
-
Does not alter setting times.
-
Since it is free of chlorides, it does not cause any corrosion
and therefore can be used in reinforced concretes.
