Highly effective water repellent for surfaces in when drying would take too long.

APPLICATIONS

Recommended for use as a water repellent on building and civil engineering materials such as cement, plaster, baked clay, natural stone, artificial stone, tiles, bricks, etc.

Preferably in all areas where drying the surface for treatment would take too long.

Can also be applied to dry surfaces.

PROPERTIES

  • Protects against problems caused by damp and air pollution.
  • Has a high degree of penetration in the surface, creating a high quality water repellent barrier.
  • Conserves the material's porosity , allowing it to breathe and avoiding the pressure differences caused by perforations in the surface treatment.
  • Because it repels damp, it prevents the appearance of fungus and blooming.
  • The treated surfaces can be treated.
  • Prevents chemical damage caused by acid rain in towns or industrial areas.
  • Its heat insulation coefficient is unaffected by humidity.

COVERAGE

As a guide, approximately 3 to 4 m2 can be treated per litre.

METHOD OF USE

  • The covering power of our RETROC-H water repellent will depend on the state of the surface and the degree of waterproofing required.
  • Used as supplied, without dilution. Can be applied by roller, brush or spray gun, spreading the product until the surface is totally saturated with it.
  • When the surface is very porous, a second coat should be applied before the first is completely dry.
  • Beading (water repelling) will start to appear approximately 24 hours after application, although it will not reach its full effectiveness for a week after treatment.
