Specifically designed to prevent the appearance of damp on all types of surfaces, thus preventing damage, stains, blooming and all types of damage caused by damp.

APPLICATIONS

Exterior: for all types of building where water repellent protection is needed against bad weather: apartment blocks, offices, historic buildings, etc.
Interiors: in all types of industries or stores where protection is needed against dampness from the manufacturing process itself, thus preventing the appearance of mould, fungus, etc; for example, meat stores, canning industries, milk treatment plants, conserved meat drying plants, etc.
Can be applied to concrete, fibre cement, terracotta, plaster, stone, etc.

PROPERTIES

• Prevents water from penetrating the network of pores and capillaries in normal building materials.
• Allows walls to breathe, does not cause water or carbon dioxide retention.
• Dries quickly on all neutral or alkaline surfaces.
• Beading appears within approximately 2 hours.
• Has notable resistance to ageing materials: UV radiation and freezing/melting cycles.
• If required, can be painted over.

COVERAGE

Retroc-S provides an approximate coverage of 2-3 m2 per litre of product, depending on the porosity of the surface.

METHOD OF USE

For best results, follow these instructions:

1. Remove loose pieces, clean or brush, for which we recommend our DESCAL scale remover.

2. Apply the product straight from the pack, by roller, brush or spray gun.

3. It is important to ensure that the surface is saturated with the product. Generally, a single coat is sufficient, but on very porous surfaces a second coat should be applied once the first coat has lost its shiny appearance.
