TREATMENT FOR RUSTY IRON (RUST TRANSFORMER)

Product that transforms ferric oxide into a bluish-black insoluble organic compound that protects metals from further rusting and provides a firm base for painting.
It is a rust transformer applicable in all those industries which work with metals, like shipbuilding, automotive, maintenance and construction industry, DIY, etc.

• When applied on rusty metal, a chemical reaction takes place, in which ferric oxide is converted into a very stable and insoluble bluish-black organic compound. This protects metal from further rusting and serves, at the same time, as a firm base for painting.
• Treated surfaces are ready to receive a paint or enamel finish. Painting can be omitted if you apply a second coat of product.
• It reacts directly with rust, so there is no need to sand thoroughly.
• It remains stable over a wide temperature range, even at very low temperatures.
• Non-flammable.
• High efficiency: 15 - 20 m2/l depending on ambient temperature.
